Bio
Evgenia Galeraki is a physical education teacher and a professional aerial performer.
She was born in 1988 in Athens, Greece.
From an early age, she became actively involved in a variety of sports and athletics in particular, until the age of 17.
She is a graduate of the University of Athens, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science (dissertation entitled “Physical and technical preparation for circus artists”).
She started taking dance courses at the age of 20.
Since 2010, she is working as a professional aerial silks performer.
As a choreographer, she has worked on a variety of contemporary and aerial dance projects for private events and school performances, including the 1st & 2nd International Circus and Alternative Forms of Expression Festivals (Athens, 2012-2013).
Additionally, as a physical education teacher she has taught acrobatics, aerial yoga, creative dance, sport activities, etc. in day nurseries, gymnastics associations, private schools, camps, sport organisations, as well as a private tutor.
